Eagles to play Tiffin, Mount Olive in Bahamas

EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana women's basketball team was informed that NCAA II Great Lakes Region member Tiffin University along with Mount Olive College will be the Screaming Eagles' opponents at the Bahamas Sunshine Shootout in Nassau, Bahamas December 19-20.
USI plays Tiffin December 19 at 5 p.m. (CST) and Mount Olive December 20 at 5 p.m.
This marks the first meeting the Eagles will have with either school. Tiffin, which was 14-15 in 2006-07, is currently an independent, but is slated to join the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in 2008-09. Mount Olive is a member of the Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference and finished the 2006-07 campaign with a 15-13 overall record and an 11-9 mark in the CVAC.
