CROSS COUNTRY: Was a top-five runner for the Eagles in five meets,
including a top-four runner in three races...finished 21st at the GLVC
Championships and was 30th at the NCAA II Great Lakes Regional
Championships...finished 169th at the NCAA II Championships...was 13th at
the UE Early Bird Invitational with a 4k time of 16:08.50...finished 34th in
the Little State competition of the Indiana Intercollegiate with a 5k time
of 20:36.00...earned Academic All-GLVC honors. INDOOR TRACK:
Finished eighth in the 3,000 meters at the GLVC Championships with a time of
10:54.52...ran the mile in 5:18.07 at the Hoosier Hills Invitational. OUTDOOR TRACK:
Recorded a sixth-place finish in the 3,000 meters at the GLVC Championships
with a time of 10:58.97...had a season-best time of 10:57.04 in the 3,000
meters and 4:49.65 in the 1,500 meters at the Vanderbilt Invitational...ran
the 800 meters in 2:33.40 at the Pacesetter Invitational and the 5,000
meters in 20:01.17 at the Washington Invitational...earned Academic All-GLVC
honors.
2004-05
CROSS COUNTRY: Finished 47th at the GLVC Championships with a
season-best 6k time of 25:50.11...had a season-best 5k time of 20:56.64 at
the Border War Invitational. INDOOR TRACK:
Did not compete. OUTDOOR TRACK: Competed in the 1,500 and 3,000
meters...finished 15th at the GLVC Championships in the 3,000 meters with a
season-best time of 11:21.41 and 15th in the 1,500 meters at the GLVC
Championships with a time of 5:19.30...ran the 1,500 meters in a season-best
time of 5:11.88 at the Vanderbilt Invitational.
2003-04
CROSS COUNTRY: Finished 32nd at the GLVC Championships with her only 6k
time of 25:34.20...finished 50th at the Indiana Intercollegiate Little State
Championships with a season-best 5k time of 20:51.00. INDOOR TRACK:
Competed in the 800 meters and the mile, finishing 16th at the GLVC
Championships with a season-best 800-meter time of 2:41.64...had a top mile
time of 5:58.18 at the DePauw Classic...finished 14th in the mile at the
GLVC Championships...also ran the 1,000 meters in 3:34.37 at the Tiger
Invitational. OUTDOOR TRACK: Competed in the 800, 1,500, and 3,000
meters...had a season-best 800-meter time of 2:47.94 at the Washington
University Invitational and a season-best 1,500-meter time of 5:11.92 at the
Gerald England Invitational...finished 19th at the GLVC Championships in the
3,000 meters after running a season-best 11:41.30 at the Butler Twilight.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Franklin Central High School where she earned seven varsity letters in cross country and track and field...helped FCHS to a seventh place finish at the 2000 IHSAA Cross Country Championships, a ninth place finish at the 2001IHSAA Cross Country Championships, and an eighth place finish at the 2002 IHSAA Cross Country Championships...helped FCHS's cross country team to four sectional championships and three regional championships...also helped FCHS's track and field team to three sectional championships...helped her freshman 4x800-meter relay team to a top finish in the county...won the 2002 county championship in cross country...had personal-bests in the 4k of 15:38.0, the 3,200 meters of 12:28.0, the 1,600 meters of 5:18.0, the 800 meters of 2:24.0, and the 400 meters of 1:06.0.
