CROSS COUNTRY: Did not compete.
INDOOR TRACK: Helped USI's distance medley relay team to two
second-place finishes, one third-place showing, and a ninth-place finish at
the NCAA II Indoor Championships...USI's DMR was second at the GLVC
Championship and second at the Hoosier Hills Invitational with a season-best
time of 11:58.81...also helped USI's 4x400-meter relay team to a 10th-place
finish and a season-best time of 4:14.48 at the Hoosier Hills
Invitational...ran the 600 meters in 1:48.75 at the Indiana Open II...was
fifth in the open finals of the 800 meters at the Hoosier Relays after
running a season-best 800-meter time of 2:17.84 in the prelims...ran the
mile in a season-best time of 5:11.32 at the Gladstein Invitational. OUTDOOR TRACK:
Did not compete.
2005-06
CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in two meets, running top seven for the Eagles
in both meets...was 20th at the UE Early Bird Invitational with a 4k time of
16:42.50...finished 42nd in the Little State competition of the Indiana
Intercollegiate with a 5k time of 20:48.00. INDOOR TRACK: Was USI's
top 800-meter runner, posting a third-place finish at the GLVC Championships
with a season-best time of 2:19.41...ran the 800-meter leg on USI's distance
medley relay team that finished 10th at the NCAA II Championships, second at
the GLVC Championships, and first at the Hoosier Hills Invitational...also
helped USI's 4x400-meter relay team to a fifth-place finish at the GLVC
Championships...ran the 1,000 meters in 3:09.20 at the DePauw Invitational.
OUTDOOR TRACK: Finished seventh in the 800 meters at the Pacesetter
Invitational with a season-best time of 2:21.74...was 10th in the 800 meters
and seventh in the 1,500 meters at the GLVC Championships...had a
season-best time of 4:49.22 in the 1,500 meters at the Pacesetter
Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Owensboro Catholic High School where she earned second-team All-State honors as a senior in cross country after earning honorable mention All-State honors in 2001 and 2003... was a four-time state qualifier in cross country, where she was 14th at the Kentucky Class AA Championships and OCHS’s most valuable runner in 2004...has competed in anything from the 200 meters to the 5,000 meters...was a three-time state qualifier in track and finished eighth in the 400 meters at the Kentucky Class AA State Track and Field Championships in 2004 and ninth in the 200 meters at the state meet in 2003.
