CROSS COUNTRY: Ran top seven for the Eagles four times as a
freshman...finished 23rd at the GLVC Championships and was 96th at the NCAA
II Great Lakes Regional Championships...was 37th in the Little State
competition of the Indiana Intercollegiate with an 8k time of 20:41.00...was
27th at the Saluki Invitational with a season-best 5k time of
19:45.97...finished 22nd at the UE Early Bird Invitational with a 4k time of
16:47.70. INDOOR TRACK: Competed in the mile, the 3,000 meters, and
the 5,000 meters...finished 15th in the 5,000 meters at the GLVC
Championships...posted a top 5,000-meter time of 19:41.27 at the Hoosier
Relays...had a season-best 3,000-meter time of 11:12.53 at the McDonald's
Invitational...finished 16th in the mile at the Hoosier Hills Invitational
with a time of 5:36.55. OUTDOOR TRACK: Finished eighth in the 3,000
meters and ninth in the 5,000 meters at the GLVC Championships...had a
season-best time in the 3,000 meters of 10:41.20 at the Vanderbilt
Invitational...also posted a season-best time of 18:50.67 in the 5,000
meters at the Hillsdale "Gina" Relays...ran the 1,500 meters at the
Pacesetter Invitational in 5:00.33.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Mater Dei High School where she was a two-time semi-state qualifier in cross country...was third at the city meet with a 4k time of 16 minutes, 20 seconds...also finished third at the SIAC meet, fourth at the sectional meet, and fifth at the regional meet with a 4k time of 15 minutes, 48 seconds...was an eight-time letter winner in cross country and track and field and was a regional qualifier in the 1,600 meters as a junior in 2004...also excelled in the classroom where she was an Academic All-City performer in cross country as well as track and field...was a member of the service club, student council, and Pep Club, while earning awards such as the Kiwanis Award and Leadership Award.
