CROSS COUNTRY: Earned Academic All-GLVC honors...ran top six for USI in
one meet...finished 74th at the GLVC Championships with a 6k time of
25:25.03...was 26th at the Saluki Invitational with a season-best 5k time of
19:20.90.
INDOOR TRACK: Helped USI's distance medley relay team to two
second-place finishes, one third-place showing, and a ninth-place finish at
the NCAA II Indoor Championships...USI's DMR was second at the GLVC
Championship and second at the Hoosier Hills Invitational with a season-best
time of 11:58.81...also helped USI's 4x400-meter relay team to a 10th-place
finish and a season-best time of 4:14.48 at the Hoosier Hills
Invitational...ran the 600 meters in 1:45.21 at the Indiana Open II, the 800
meters in 2:26.91 at the DePauw Invitational, and the mile in 5:19.88 at the
Gladstein Invitational. OUTDOOR TRACK: Was USI's top 800-meter
competitor in the outdoor season, posting a season-best time of 2:17.35 at
the Dr. Keeler Invitational...also posted a season-best 200-meter time of
28.24 seconds and 400-meter time of 1:02.31 at the Vanderbilt
Invitational...finished 7th in the 800 meters at the GLVC Championships with
a time of 2:19.38...also helped USI's 4x400-meter relay team to a
seventh-place finish and a season-best time of 4:16.87 at the GLVC
Championships...posted a season-best 1,500-meter time of 4:50.88 at the
Hillsdale "Gina" Relays...earned Academic All-GLVC honors.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Central High School where she varsity letters in cross country, track, basketball, and soccer...four-time All-Conference and All-City performer in cross country...qualified for semi-state in cross country four times...also was a three-time All-Conference and three-time All-City selection in track...earned All-State honorable mention honors in cross country and won the Evansville City Championship in the 800 meters as a freshman...finished 12th in the 800 meters at the IHSAA Track and Field Championships after capturing the sectional and regional titles as a sophomore...was the sectional champion in the 800 meters as a junior...helped the CHS cross country team win conference, sectional, and regional championships as a sophomore in 2003...was a three-time Academic All-City selection and has been a member of several student organizations, including the IHSAA Student Advisory Commission.
