CROSS COUNTRY: Ran top seven for the Eagles in six races and completed
the year as USI's number two runner...finished 19th at the NCAA II Great
Lakes Region Championships with a season-best 6k time of 22:45.48...also was
19th at the GLVC Championships with a 6k time of 23:42.68...finished 97th at
the NCAA II Championships with a 6k time of 22:53.30...finished sixth at the
Millikin Fast Times Challenge...posted a season-best 5k time of 19:44.53 at
the Greater Louisville Classic.
INDOOR TRACK: Was fifth in the 5,000 meters and seventh in the 3,000
meters at the GLVC Championships...ran the 3,000 meters in a season-best
time of 10:38.18 at the Gladstein Invitational and the 5,000 meters in a
season-best time of 18:41.70 at the GLVC Championships...finished the mile
in 5:24.20 and the 1,000 meters in 3:14.96 at the DePauw Invitational. OUTDOOR TRACK:
Was fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the SEMOtion Relays with a
season-best time of 11:54.50...also finished fourth in the steeplechase at
the Little State Championships...ran the 5,000 meters in 18:38.35 at the
Washington Invitational.
2006-07
CROSS COUNTRY: Did not compete.
INDOOR TRACK: Did not compete. OUTDOOR TRACK: Did not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from DeKalb High School where she earned 12 varsity letters in cross country, track, and gymnastics...helped lead DHS to four sectional championships and two conference championships in cross country as well as a pair of sectional titles in track...was a four-time first-team All-Conference and four-time All-State runner in cross country (three time first team and one honorable mention)...was a state qualifier in the two mile in track...was the school-record holder in the 4k with a personal-best time of 14:14...also was a three-time Prep of the Year in cross country as well as a one-time Prep of the Year in gymnastics...earned All-Conference honors twice and was a regional qualifier in gymnastics.
