CROSS COUNTRY: Ran top seven for the Eagles at the USI Alumni Opener
when she finished 12th with a 4k time of 15:14.00...had a season-best 5k
time of 20:47.50 at the Greater Louisville XC Classic.
INDOOR TRACK: Did not compete. OUTDOOR TRACK: Was ninth in the
5,000 meters at the GLVC Championships with a time of 19:31.51...finished
fifth in the 5,000 meters at the Washington Invitational with a time of
18:55.50...ran the 5,000 meters in a season-best 18:24.15 at the Hillsdale
"Gina" Relays...ran the 3,000 meters in 10:33.70 at the Vanderbilt
Invitational...helped USI's 4x100-meter relay team to a ninth-place finish
and a time of 58.33 seconds at the GLVC Championships.
2005-06
CROSS COUNTRY: Finished eighth in the open competition of the Indiana
Intercollegiate with a 5k time of 20:49.00...was 21st at the Saluki
Invitational with a 5k time of 19:32.48...was USI's third finisher at the
NCAA II Championships as she placed 115th with a 6k time of 24:27.80.
INDOOR TRACK: Did not compete. OUTDOOR TRACK: Competed in one
meet, placing seventh in the 5,000 meters at the Pacesetter Invitational
with a time of 19:46.82.
2004-05
CROSS COUNTRY: Ran top-seven for the Eagles in three races as a
freshman, but was hampered by injury toward the end of the season...finished
51st at the GLVC Championships...posted a season-best 6k time of 25:14.00 at
the Stegemoller Classic...had a season-best 5k time of 19:53.00 at the
Indiana Intercollegiate. INDOOR TRACK: Redshirted. OUTDOOR TRACK:
Redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Terre Haute South Vigo High School where she won sectional championships in 2001 and 2002...helped VHS to team championships at sectionals in 2002 and 2003...finished 36th at the IHSAA State Meet in 2002 and has a top 4k time of 15 minutes, 15 seconds...named the Vigo County Outstanding Female runner in 2001 and 2002 and was a member of VHS’s 4x800 relay team that finished 17th at the 2002 IHSAA Track and Field Championships.
