USI women’s indoor track and field sending two to nationals
Final NCAA II Women's Entry List
University of Southern Indiana women’s track and field freshmen Abby Boberg (Bicknell, Indiana) and Heather Cooksey (Brownsburg, Indiana) made the final entry list to compete at the NCAA Division II National Championships (March 14-15). Boberg ranks third in the country in the high jump, with a leap of 5 feet 8 inches, while Cooksey ranks 15th, nationally, in the mile with an adjusted time of 4:58.49.
Both Boberg and Cooksey won GLVC indoor championships last Saturday in Kenosha, Wisconsin. All-America is awarded to competitors that finish in the top eight in the finals of an event.
