Directions to University of Evansville Cross Country Course
EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana men’s and women’s cross country teams start the 2005 season Saturday at the University of Evansville Early Bird Invitational.

USI’s men are led by senior
Jesse Davis (Bloomington, Indiana), while the women are led by senior
Heather Cooksey (Brownsburg, Indiana).
Davis has had an outstanding summer workout program and looks to be the early favorite to win the GLVC individual title in October after finishing second at the league meet a year ago. Cooksey is the defending GLVC and NCAA II Great Lakes Regional champion and is a 10-time All-American heading into her final season of competition.
The UE Early Bird Invitational is one of only four meets the Screaming Eagles will compete in prior to the league championships October 22. USI’s next meet is September 16 when it competes at the Indiana Intercollegiate in Bloomington, Indiana.
