Davis advances to finals in 800 meters,

BOSTON, Mass.—University of Southern Indiana men's track and field senior
Jesse Davis (Bloomington, Indiana) advanced to the finals in the 800 meters Friday evening at the NCAA II Indoor Championships at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center.
Davis set a school record with his time of one minute, 53.37 seconds. It also was the second fastest time in the field.
Davis will compete in the finals Saturday at 2:56 p.m. (CST).
USI's women finished 10th in the finals of the distance medley relay. The Screaming Eagles completed the race in 12 minutes, 4.27 seconds, nearly 14 seconds off their qualifying pace set three weeks ago at the Hoosier Hills Invitational.
