NASHVILLE, Tenn.—The University of Southern Indiana women's track and field team posted three NCAA II provisional qualifying times at the Vanderbilt Invitational Friday night.

Allison Shafer (Plainville, Indiana) was fourth in the 3,000 meters with a solid provisional qualifying time of nine minutes, 53.16 seconds, while senior
Missy Burgin (Sellersburg, Indiana) was seventh in the event with a provisional qualifying time of nine minutes, 58.39 seconds.
Senior
Carrie Leimberger (Indianapolis, Indiana) also posted her first career NCAA II provisional qualifying time Friday. Leimberger finished 10th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11 minutes, 24.06 seconds.
As a team, the Screaming Eagles finished 20th in the 24-team meet with a total of nine points.
USI returns to action April 26-27 when it competes at the Hillsdale "Gina" Relays in Hillsdale, Michigan.
