Cooksey, Ballinger lead Eagles at IU

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.—Senior Heather Cooksey (Brownsburg, Indiana) and sophomore Mary Ballinger (Chesterton, Indiana) led the University of Southern Indiana women's track and field team at the Indiana Relays Saturday.

Cooksey finished second in the 3,000 meters invitational with an indoor school-record time of nine minutes, 53.06 seconds, while Ballinger was 10th in the 3,000 meters invitational with a time of 10 minutes, 16.29 seconds.
The Screaming Eagles are slated to run a full squad next Saturday at the DePauw Invitational in Greencastle, Indiana.
