USI runners remain in top 15 of national rankings,
Return to action Saturday at Greater Louisville Classic
EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana men's and women's cross country teams remained in the top 15 of the latest United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association Division II Top 25 poll.
Despite being idle last weekend, the Screaming Eagles moved up a spot to 12th in the men's rankings, while the women's squad remained 11th in the latest poll. Both squads kept their second-place spots in the latest NCAA II Midwest Region rankings.
The GLVC also was represented in the national poll by Drury University's men's squad, which moved up two spots to 17th, and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside women's squad, which slipped two spots to 23rd.
USI returns to action Saturday when it competes in the Greater Louisville Classic in Louisville, Kentucky. The races are slated to begin at 9:15 a.m. (CDT).
