2003-04: Saw action in three tournaments and averaged 94.4 strokes per round...had a season-best 87 at the Screaming Eagles Classic. HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered all four years in golf at Northveiw High School in Brazil, Indiana...helped NHS to the 2001 sectional championship and the 2002 regional title...also won the Western Indiana Conference championship as a sophomore, junior, and senior...finished as high as 26th in the state.

2003-04: Played in seven tournaments as a sophomore, averaging 87.9 strokes per round over 14 18-hole rounds...improved 8.7 strokes per round over her first year with USI...played her best golf during the spring season with an 86.9 average over 10 rounds of golf...had her best round at the Northern Kentucky University Invitational when she shot an 82...shot a 36-hole career-best 166 at the Agnes McMamis Memorial. 2002-03: Played in eight tournaments, 16 rounds, as a freshman...averaged 96.6 strokes per round...had a season-low over 18-holes at the the DePauw Small College Classic with an 89...also had her best 36-holes of the year at the Small College Classic with a 186. HIGH SCHOOL: Comes to the Screaming Eagles from Mt. Vernon High School in Mt. Vernon, Indiana, where she was the women’s golf team’s most valuable player...is the recipient of the Academic Honors Diploma and the Young Indiana Heroes Award...was a four-year letter winner in golf and softball...was MVHS’s softball offensive MVP as a junior.

At USI: Was not a part of the women's golf team in 2003-04 and 2002-03. 2001-02: Saw action in six tournaments as a freshman and averaged 97.8 strokes per round over 12 rounds...shot an 18-hole season-best 91 on three different occasions and a 36-hole season-best 182 (91-91) at the Lady Eagles Golf Classic. HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in golf at Mater Dei High School (Evansville, Indiana).

HIGH SCHOOL: Collected letters in golf and basketball at North Hopkins High School...named Academic All-State and won the regional tournament as an individual in 2002 and tied for 15th in the Kentucky State Tournament...qualified for the state tournament each of her four seasons.

2003-04: Played in four tournaments during the fall season as a freshman...had an 87.5 strokes per round average over eight rounds...recorded an 18-hole season-best 83 in two different tournaments and a 36-hole season-best 169 (86-83) at the Screaming Eagles Classic. HIGH SCHOOL: Earned letters in golf, basketball, track, and swimming at Milan High School in Milan, Indiana...was a two-time regional qualifier and a three-time All-Sectional performer...named MHS's Most Valuable Golfer four times and was fifth at the 2002 Pepsi State Age Group Championship in French Lick, Indiana...was the 2001 conference champion in the 200m dash and the 2001 and 2002 conference champion 100m dash...also was a regional qualifier in the 100m dash and the 400m relay in 2001.

2003-04:Named Academic All-GLVC for the second straight season...improved 9.9 strokes per round over her freshman year with the Eagles...averaged 84.8 strokes per round in 12 tournaments and 25 rounds of golf...had her best rounds of golf during the fall season, averaging 84.2 strokes per round...had her best tournament at the GLVC Championship when she shot a career-best 36-hole 158 by shooting a 79 in each round. 2002-03:  Named Academic All-GLVC as a freshman...finished her first season as the number four golfer on the team with a 94.7 strokes-per-round average...had her best 18-hole round at the Anges McAmis Memorial with an 87 and her best 36-hole tournament at the Screaming Eagles Classic with a 179 (91-88). HIGH SCHOOL: Joins the USI squad after earning nine varsity letters in basketball, golf, and track at Norwell High School in Ossian, Indiana...won the Junior Championship at the Parlor City Country Club and finished 10th at the Fremont Invitational...a recipient of the Mental Attitude Award in 2000...was named honorable mention All-Northeast Hoosier Conference in 1999 and 2000...was NHS’s top golfer for two seasons and the team’s MVP in 2001.

Major: Exercise Science

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in four sports at Greenfield-Central High School (Greenfield, Indiana)... was the Hoosier Heritage Conference medalist as a senior and became the first individual to advance to the regional in her only season on the varsity...named to the volleyball All-Star East Team in the Indianapolis Star as a junior and senior and earned honorable mention Academic All-State honors...also named honorable mention All-Conference in tennis as a sophomore.


ALISHA LUIGS
Junior
Mt. Vernon, Indiana (Mt. Vernon)
Major: Physical Education

TRANSFER: Transferred to USI from John A. Logan College where she was an honorable mention All-American and placed 16th in the 2003 NJCAA National Tournament...averaged 82.5 strokes per round as as sophomore at John A. Logan. HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in golf and basketball at Mater Dei High School in Evansville, Indiana...was the SIAC and sectional medalist in 2000 and helped MDHS to qualify for the state tournament in 1997 and 1998.


AUDREY RAMSEY
Freshman

Muncie, Indiana (Delta)
Major: Business Administration

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner and All-Conference performer in golf at Delta High School (Muncie, Indiana)...was the 2003 sectional medalist and a regional qualifier the last three seasons...finished her high school career by being named the East Central Indiana Athlete of the Year in girl’s golf and placing 26th as an individual in the 2003 Indiana State Finals.
