USI women’s golf 7th in Lady Aces Invitational
The University of Southern Indiana women’s golf team a team score of 713 and placed seventh in the Lady Aces Invitational at Eagle Valley Golf Course in Evansville, Indiana. The Screaming Eagles were led by junior Brandi Irvin (Benton, Illinois), who was 18th with a two-day total of 171 (81-90).
Irvin was followed freshman Amanda Zehner (Henderson, Kentucky) with a two day 176 (86-90) and tied for 24th.
The next tournament for the Eagles will be Friday and Saturday, September 27-28, in the DePauw Small College Invitational at the Rolling Meadows Golf Course in Gosport, Indiana. This will be the final tournament before USI plays in the GLVC Championships on Sunday and Monday, October 6-7.
