Ramig signs with USI women’s golf
The University of Southern Indiana women’s golf team announced the signing of Ashley Ramig (Milan, Indiana) to a letter of intent for the 2003-04. Ramig is the first player to sign with USI Head Coach Don Bisesi this year.
Ramig is a senior at Milan High School in Milan, Indiana, where she has lettered in golf, basketball, track, and swimming. She is a two-time regional qualifier and a three-time All-Sectional performer. The four-time MHS Most Valuable Golfer was fifth at the 2002 Pepsi State Age Group Championship in French Lick, Indiana.
An all around athlete, Ramig was 2001 conference champion in the 200m dash and the 2001 and 2002 conference champion 100m dash. She was a regional qualifier in the 100m dash and the 400m relay in 2001.
USI’s women’s golf team placed fifth this past season in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
