Screaming Eagles slip a spot in Lady Colonel Classic
The University of Southern Indiana women's golf team slipped to eighth after the second round of the EKU Lady Colonel Classic at Arlington Golf Course in Richmond, Kentucky. The Screaming Eagles will play the final round of the tournament that is hosted by Eastern Kentucky University Saturday morning.
USI has a team score of 653 (329-330) over 36-holes, falling two shots behind the University of Kentucky JV squad, which moved into the seven slot. Murray State University continued to lead the tournament with a 614 (301-313).
Individually, sophomore Amanda Zehner (Henderson, Kentucky) continued to lead the Eagles with a 157 (76-81) while falling from a tie for seventh to a tie for 11th. Freshman Megan Pendergraff (Henderson, Kentucky) follows Zehner with a 158 (78-80) and tied for 16th. Pendergraff’s 80 was USI’s top individual in the second round.
