Helms signs with Southern Indiana
The University of Southern Indiana women’s golf team announced the signing of Christina Helms to a national letter of intent for the 2004-05 season. Helms is the third player to sign with USI Head Coach Don Bisesi this year.
Helms was a four-sport letterwinner at Greenfield-Central High School in Greenfield, Indiana. She was the Hoosier Heritage Conference medalist as a senior and became the first individual to advance to the regional in her only season on the varsity.
In volleyball, Helms was named to the All-Star East Team in the Indianapolis Star as a junior and senior and earned honorable mention Academic All-State honors. She also was named honorable mention All-Conference in tennis as a sophomore.
Helms join Alisha Luigs (Mt. Vernon, Indiana) and Audrey Ramsey (Muncie, Indiana) in signing with the Eagles.
