BIG RAPIDS, Mich.—The University of Southern Indiana women’s golf team concluded its final round Sunday at the season-opening Ferris State Bulldog Fall Invitational. The Screaming Eagles finished fifth, with a two-round total 637, out of 19 teams after shooting a final-round 322.
USI was paced by sophomore Megan Pendergraff (Henderson, Kentucky), who shot a two-round 156 (79, 77) and finished in a tie for 14th.
Freshman Audrey Ramsey (Muncie, Indiana) and junior Tara Ulmer (Bluffton, Indiana) struggled on the second day of action after shooting a 76 and 77, respectively, during Saturday’s opening-round. The two shot matching 84s to finish in a tie for 23rd and 25th, respectively.
USI will turn its attention to the Radisson Laker Fall Classic, which begins Monday at the Meadows Golf Club in Allendale, Michigan.
