Luigs, Eagles sixth at IWU Fall Golf Classic

NORMAL, Ill.—University of Southern Indiana senior Alisha Luigs (Mt. Vernon, Indiana) shot a closing-round 73 Sunday to lead the USI women's golf team to a sixth-place performance at the Illinois Wesleyan University Fall Golf Classic at the Ironwood Country Club. Luigs recorded a two-round 149 to finish in a tie for sixth, while the Screaming Eagles finished with a two-round team score of 631 after closing the tournament with a 315.

Audrey Ramsey

Sophomore Audrey Ramsey (Muncie, Indiana) finished in a tie for 23rd after shooting a 77 in the opening round and a 79 on Sunday.

The Eagles return to action a week from today when they host the 16-team Ray Wright/Screaming Eagles Golf Classic at the Cambridge Golf Course just north of Evansville, Indiana, off U.S. Highway 41. The tournament will be a two-day tournament, featuring nine schools from the GLVC and two USI squads.
