Weather washes away first round of USI women's golf tourney
EVANSVILLE, Ind.—Rain and the threat of severe weather washed out the first round of the Ray Wright/Screaming Eagles Golf Classic Sunday at the Cambridge Golf Course. Although players started the round, they were unable to finish as conditions became to poor to play in.
The tournament, which was originally scheduled for two rounds, will become a one-round tournament. Play will begin with a 9 a.m. shotgun start Monday, weather permitting.
