USI concludes fall with second at Franklin Invitational

FRANKLIN, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana women's golf team concluded the fall half to 2005-06 campaign with a second place finish at the Franklin Lady Grizzly Fall Invitational on The Legends of Indiana Golf Course in Franklin, Indiana. The Screaming Eagles shot a two-round 654 (333-321) to finish just four strokes off the pace set by DePauw University.
DePauw won the tournament with a two-round 650 (315-335).
USI senior Alisha Luigs (Mt. Vernon, Indiana) and sophomore Audrey Ramsey (Muncie, Indiana) led the Eagles by tying for fifth in the tournament. Luigs posted her 161 by shooting 80-81, while Ramsey shot 83-78. Ramsey's 78 was USI's best round in the tournament.
