Eagles finish second overall

Behind a first-place performance from senior Alisha Luigs
(Mt. Vernon, Indiana), the University of Southern Indiana women's golf team recorded a second-place finish at the University of Montevallo Lady Falcon Intercollegiate Monday and Tuesday at the Timberline Golf Course.
Luigs shot a closing-round 74 to finish with a two-day total of 154, six strokes ahead of the second-place finisher, West Georgia's Helena Harbridge, and 12 shots over par.
The Screaming Eagles, who shot a closing-round 344 after opening the tournament Monday with a 353, also got a seventh-place finish out of freshman Kayla Roark
(Waterloo, Indiana). Roark had a two-day total of 173 after finishing the tournament with an 86.
USI returns to action March 13-14 when it competes at the Lincoln Memorial University Spring Invitational at Woodlake Resort in Tazewell, Tennessee.
