URBANA, Ill. The University of Southern Indiana women's golf team placed 16th at the Illinois Spring Classic in Urbana, Illinois. The tournament was held at the Stone Creek Golf Course.
USI shot a team 686 (348-338) over the two days of the tournament. Senior Alisha Luigs (Mt. Vernon, Indiana) led the team, placing 40th with a 36-hole 161 (83-78).
The Screaming Eagles wait to receive word on a berth in the NCAA Division II North Regional scheduled for May 1-3. The pairing will be announced April 24.
