Eagles finish in tie for second,

EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana women's golf team finished in a tie for second in the Ray Wright/Screaming Eagles Golf Classic after shooting a final-round 329 Monday at the Cambridge Golf Course.
Along with DePauw University, USI finished with a 652 after posting a 323 during Sunday's opening round. DePauw made a furious push to the top Monday by posting a 317 after shooting a 335 Sunday.

Renee DeCaro (LaPorte, Indiana) was named to the All-Tournament team after placing fifth with a two-round score of 158 (77-81, +14). Sophomore
Tara Wiley (Oxford, Indiana) finished in a tie for 13th after shooting a final-round 80 and finishing with a two-day score of 163.
The University of Indianapolis took home the team title, shooting a blistering 310 Monday after opening the tournament two strokes ahead of the Screaming Eagles with a 321. Indianapolis's Kristi Piepenbrink was the medalist after posting a two-round 149 (73, 76).
Other players listed on the All-Tournament team included Northern Kentucky University's Alicia Lawrence, John A. Logan College's Hannah Jenkins, Indianapolis's Sara Prascsak, and Rend Lake College's Megan Hood.
USI closes its fall schedule Friday when it takes on the University of Evansville in a duel exhibition match at the Cambridge Golf Course.
