Eagles finish fourth at GVSU Spring Invitational

ST. CLOUD, Fla.—The University of Southern Indiana women's golf team shot a final-round 332 Thursday and finished fourth out of eight teams at the Grand Valley State University Spring Invitational, which was played at the Royal St. Cloud Golf Course.
USI shot an opening round 323 Wednesday and finished the two-day tournament with a score of 655.

Freshman
Jessica Dooley (Goshen, Indiana) led the Screaming Eagles with a two-round 161 (+17). She finished 11th after firing a 78 in Wednesday's opening round.

Tara Wiley |
Sophomore
Tara Wiley (Oxford, Indiana) recorded USI's low round on Thursday when she entered the clubhouse with a final round 80. Wiley finished 13th overall with a two-day total of 163.
The University of Detroit-Mercy won the team title, while Detroit-Mercy's Rachel McHenry took home the individual title.
USI returns to action March 24-25 when it competes at the Northern Kentucky University Invitational in Perry Park, Kentucky.
