Eagles finish eighth at NKU Invitational

PERRY PARK, Ky.—The University of Southern Indiana women's golf team finished eighth out of 21 teams at the Northern Kentucky University Invitational this past weekend.

USI opened the two-day tournament by shooting a 313 on Saturday. The Screaming Eagles finished with a 323 on Sunday.

Kayla Roark

Sophomore Kayla Roark (Waterloo, Indiana) finished the tournament 12-over-par and finished in a tie for 13th to lead the Eagles. Roark shot a 76 on Saturday before closing the tournament Sunday with a 78.

The Eagles are back in action Monday and Tuesday at the Bellarmine Invitational in Louisville, Kentucky.
