Eagles finish third at Bellarmine Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The University of Southern Indiana women's golf team finished third at the Bellarmine University Women's Invitational at the Persimmon Ridge Golf Course.
USI fought back from a tough opening round on Monday to shoot a 324 in the final round Tuesday and finish the two-day tournament with a score of 676.

Jessica Dooley (Goshen, Indiana) led the Screaming Eagles with a two-round 170 (+26) after shooting an 80 in the final round on Tuesday. Dooley finished 10th, one spot ahead of sophomore
Kayla Roark (Waterloo, Indiana) and freshman
Kimberly Gottwald (Ft. Wayne, Indiana). Roark and Gottwald finished in a four-way tie for 11th with matching two-day totals of 173.
The Eagles return to action April 9-10 when they compete in the GLVC Championships at the Timbergate Golf Course in Edinburgh, Indiana.
