Wiley selected as individual for NCAA II East Regional

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana sophomore women's golfer
Tara Wiley (Oxford, Indiana) has been selected to participate in the NCAA Division II East Regional on April 30-May 2. Wiley will be one of three individuals participating in the regional.
Each regional consists of both team and individual competition conducted concurrently with six teams and three individuals from non-qualifying teams at each site. All participants will compete throughout the 54 holes of competition. The top two teams along with the top two individuals, not with a team from each regional, will advance to the championships.
The regional will be played at the Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Michigan, and is hosted by Ferris State University.
Wiley, who is making her second appearance in the regional after advancing with the USI team as a freshman, has been USI's top player in 2007 with an 81.1 strokes per round average. Her best finish of the year came at the GLVC Championships, tying for fifth and being named All-GLVC.
