Wiley finishes 18th in the NCAA II East Regional

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – University of Southern Indiana sophomore women's golfer
Tara Wiley (Oxford, Indiana) placed 18th at the NCAA Division II East Regional, hosted by Ferris State University at Katke Golf Course. Wiley finished with a three-round 235 (82-79-74), 17 strokes off the pace set by Drury University's Shannon Bost.
Bost won the individual half of the tournament with a 218 (73-71-74).
Wiley also missed advancing to the NCAA Division II National Championships by eight strokes. Grand Valley State University's Tracey Puckering, who shot a 226 (72-75-76) and California University Pennsylvania, who shot a 227 (78-74-75), advanced as individuals, while Ferris State and Drury go to the nationals as the team representatives.
