Eagles tied for second after first day at Cambridge

EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana women's golf team is sitting in a tie for second after shooting a opening-round 319 Sunday at the Ray Wright/Screaming Eagles' Golf Classic at the Cambridge Golf Course.
The Screaming Eagles, who are tied with the University of Indianapolis, trail Northern Kentucky University by two strokes.

Jessica Dooley (Goshen, Indiana) is tied for second after leading the Eagles with a four-over-par 76 in the opening round. Junior
Tara Wiley (Oxford, Indiana) shot a 77 and is tied for fourth.
NKU's Alicia Stauffacher is the leader after 72 holes of the two-round tournament. Stauffacher shot a 74 to gain the two-stroke advantage heading into Monday's final round.
USI will be grouped with Northern Kentucky and Indianapolis in the final round, which begins with a shotgun start at 8:35 a.m.
