USI women's golf starts year ranked 24th nationally
EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana women's golf team will start the 2008-09 campaign ranked 24th nationally in the Golf World/NGCA Division II Coaches Preseason Poll. The Screaming Eagles tee off this fall on September 8-9 in the Lady Panther Fall Shootout hosted by Drury University.
USI finished 2007-08 with a sixth place finish in the NCAA Division II East Regional and a fourth place showing in the GLVC Tournament last spring. The Eagles have advanced to the NCAA II Tournament four of the last five years.
