Eagles finish fourth at Cambridge

EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The No. 24-ranked University of Southern Indiana women's golf team shot 323 Monday in the final round of the Ray Wright/Screaming Eagles' Classic at Cambridge Golf Course. The Screaming Eagles, who shot 311 in Sunday's opening round, finished the two-day tournament in fourth place, four strokes behind third-place Western Kentucky University.

USI, which had four players shoot in the 70's on Sunday, was led by junior
Jessica Dooley (Goshen, Indiana). Dooley matched her first day score of 78 to place 10th with a two-day score of 156.
Junior
Tara Wiley (Oxford, Indiana) shot 76 and 82 to finish 14th, while fellow classmate
Kimberly Gottwald (Ft. Wayne, Indiana) finished in a tie for 15th after posting a two-day total of 159 (79-80).
Western Kentucky's Emily Wolff was the tournament medalist after shooting a three-under-par 69 Monday and finishing with a two-round score of 144. Her 69 and two-round score of 144 were both tournament records for Cambridge.
The University of Indianapolis also set single-round and two-round tournament records for Cambridge as it captured the team title. The Greyhounds shot 300 Monday to finish the tournament with a 604, 18 strokes better than second-place Drury University.
USI returns to action October 6-7 when it takes part in the Triton & Bear Ladies Invite in Madison, Illinois.
