Tara Wiley (Oxford, Indiana) was the tournament medalist after shooting a two-over-par 73 in Monday's opening round and a 76 in the final round on Tuesday. It marked the second time in Wiley's collegiate career that she has won a tournament—she also won the 2007 Ray Wright/Screaming Eagles Classic.
Joining Wiley in the top five were juniors
Angela Dehning (Hazel Crest, Illinois) and
Jessica Dooley (Goshen, Indiana), who each tied for third with scores of 151. Dooley shot 73 Monday and 78 Tuesday, while Dehning shot 75 and 76 to match Dooley's two-day score.
Junior
Kimberly Gottwald (Ft. Wayne, Indiana) rounded out the Eagles' top 15 performers after shooting 74 Monday and 84 Tuesday to finish with a two-day 158.
The Eagles, who recorded their third first-place finish since 2007, wrap up their fall schedule October 12-14 when they compete at the Nova Southeastern Shark Invitational in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
