USI women's golf rises to 24th nationally
EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana women's golf team concluded the fall half of the 2008-09 campaign by rising to 24th in the latest Golf World/National Golf Coaches Association Division II Top 25 poll on Wednesday.
The Screaming Eagles finished the fall season with three top-10 finishes out of four tournaments, including a team championship at the Triton & Bear Invitational two weeks ago. The squad is averaging 320.7 strokes per round and posted a school record 295 in the first round of the Triton & Bear Invitational.
