Eagles finish fifth at Vulcan Invitational

BELLE VERNON, Pa.—The University of Southern Indiana women's golf team shot a final round 333 Monday to finish fifth out of 12 teams at the California University of Pennsylvania Vulcan Invitational.
USI finished the two-day tournament with a two-round total of 664, six strokes behind No. 11-ranked University of Indianapolis, which finished fourth, and eight strokes behind No. 8-ranked and tournament host California-Pennsylvania, which tied for second. The Screaming Eagles opened the tournament with a 331 Sunday.
No. 4-ranked Grand Valley State University won the two-day tournament with a two-round 635.
