USI places fifth at Tri-State Fall Invitational
The University of Southern Indiana women's golf continued to improve with a fifth place finish at the Tri-State University Fall Invitational. The Screaming Eagles were third after the first day with a 370, but fell to fifth with a second day 382. The fifth place finish is the best for the Eagles this fall.
Individually, sophomore Brandi Irvin (Benton, Illinois) led the way for USI with a sixth place finish by shooting a two-day 175 (88-87). The second day 87 tied her season-high, which she shot in the Lady Eagle Golf Classic last weekend at Helfrich Golf Course.
