Shetler named Player of the Week
University of Southern Indiana freshman forward Alisann Shetler (Evansville, Indiana) was named the first Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week for women’s soccer this fall.
Shetler has had the hot foot in the Screaming Eagles’ 3-0-0 start this fall. She scored USI’s first goal of the season, just 1:29 into her collegiate career, and had two goals in the USI’s 4-3 victory over Hillsdale College. For the season she has six points on three goals to lead the Eagles and is tied for 10th in the GLVC.
Shetler and the Eagles will be back in action this evening when Missouri Baptist College visits Strassweg Field for a 6:30 p.m. match.
