This is the first time since Stephanie Minor in 2000 that a USI women's soccer player has earned this honor twice in a season.
Collins led the Screaming Eagles three-game sweep last week, scoring all three of the game-winning goals. For the season, she leads the Eagles with 22 points on a team-best nine goals and four assists.
The three-match winning streak has given USI its best record in the GLVC, 6-3-0, since the 2000 season and an overall record of 7-5-0.
The Screaming Eagles and Collins will resume action on the road in Ohio this weekend. USI plays at Tiffin University Saturday at 1 p.m. (CST) and at the University of Findlay Sunday at 1:30 p.m. (CST).
