USI to start three-match homestand Tuesday
EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana women's soccer team hosts Kentucky Wesleyan College Tuesday at Strassweg Field for a 6 p.m. GLVC match. The contest begins a three-match homestand that concludes with the Screaming Eagles hosting Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Quincy University Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
The Eagles (3-7-0, 1-5-0 GLVC) are coming off a disappointing 0-2-0 weekend, losing to Saint Joseph's College, 2-1, and the University of Indianapolis, 1-0, on penalty kicks. The Panthers (3-5-1, 1-5-0 GLVC) also have lost twice in a row, including an overtime loss to Saint Joseph's.
USI shut out KWC, 3-0, in Owensboro, Kentucky, last year and holds a 9-0-0 all-time lead.
