USI women's soccer releases England exhibition schedule
EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana women's soccer team has released its exhibition schedule for program's first trip across the Atlantic Ocean to England. The Screaming Eagles, who will play three exhibition contests on the trip, will kick-off the trip with a match against the Millwall Lionesses in New Elthham London, August 10.
The trip will conclude with a match against Enfield in Enfield, Middlesex, August 12, and Cambridge United in Cambridge, England, August 14.
"The trip will give us an advantage of playing together for three games," USI Head Coach Krissy Englebrecht said. "They're basically going to spend 10 days with just each other."
After the team returns to the United States, the Eagles will start the season August 23 at Saginaw Valley State University. The squad opens the home schedule September 14 when it hosts Saint Joseph's College.
