USI season opener postponed by weather
SAGINAW, Mich. – The University of Southern Indiana women's soccer season opener at Saginaw Valley State University was postponed by threatening weather. The Screaming Eagles and the Cardinals are rescheduled to play Friday morning at 10 a.m. (CDT) in Saginaw, Michigan.
After the kick-off was delayed one hour by lightning, the match was halted 10 minutes into the contest due to lightning.
Due to the USI-SVSU postponement, the USI and Northwood University match scheduled for Friday night has been moved to 7 a.m. (CDT) Saturday morning.
