EVANSVILLE, Ind.Two early second-half goals proved to be too much for the University of Southern Indiana women's soccer team Friday night as it fell to Rockhurst University, 2-1, at Strassweg Field.

Rockhurst (4-1-1, 1-0-1 GLVC) scored in the 50th and 51st minutes of the contest to build a 2-0 lead.

Meagan Kempf

The Screaming Eagles (2-5-0, 0-3-0 GLVC) fought back, though, scoring a goal in the 87th minute off the foot of freshman forward Meagan Kempf (Evansville, Indiana) on a corner kick. Junior midfielders Kara Georgeff (Highland, Indiana) and Shauni Boudia (Noblesville, Indiana) were credited with assists on the play.
