NSCAA recognizes USI women’s soccer as Academic Award Winner
The National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced its College Team Academic Award Winners and the University of Southern Indiana women’s soccer team was one of the institutions recognized. USI was one of 229 institutions of higher learning whose soccer team compiled a minimum 3.0 GPA for the 2000-01 academic year.
The teams represent all levels of play, from NCAA Division I to NAIA and junior college—totaling more than 1,000 institutions. USI’s cumulative grade point average for the 2000-01 academic year was 3.125.
The awards will be presented at the College Coaches Luncheon at the 2002 Convention, to be held on Thursday, January 17, at the Philadelphia Marriott Hotel.
