HIGH SCHOOL: Becomes an Eagle after helping the Mt. Carmel High School Lady Aces (Mt. Carmel, Illinois) to a 50-0 record during her four-year prep career and the 2007 sectional title...won the sectional singles championship the last two seasons, was a four-year IHSA state tournament qualifier, and was undefeated in dual matches during the last two seasons.
AMATEUR TENNIS: A five-year member of the Wightman Cup Team and was the number one player in the Southern Illinois District of the Illinois Tennis Association ...was the 2007 Outstanding Junior Female Player of the Year.
PERSONAL: Born October 23, 1989...daughter of John and Debbie Ackerman...younger sister of USI senior Reilly Ackerman and former USI player Kalie Ackerman.
