KALIE ACKERMAN
Senior

Allendale, Illinois (Mt. Carmel)
Major: Elementary Education

2003-04: Named Academic All-GLVC for a third straight year...posted a 9-10 overall record in singles matches, 2-5 at number five singles and 7-2 at number six singles...combined with Kathleen Davis and Cassy Froderman to record a 1-3 double mark. 2002-03: Named Academic All-GLVC for the second straight season...posted an 8-9 overall record in singles (0-4 at number four, 7-3 at number five, and 1-0 at number six)...combined with four different partners for a 9-7 record at number three doubles. 2001-02: Named Academic All-GLVC...posted a 9-4 overall record (8-4 at number six singles and 1-0 at number three singles) and a 6-3 GLVC record...did not compete in doubles play. HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in tennis and track at Mt. Carmel (Illinois) High School…named the Southern Illinois Tennis Association Outstanding Junior Female Tennis Player of the Year in 2000…produced a high school singles record of 64-20, 23-2 as a senior...named Most Valuable Player three straight seasons and All-Conference as a junior…advanced to the IHSA State Tennis Tournament as a junior and senior…helped lead MCHS to the North Egypt Conference championships in 2000.

CASSY FRODERMAN
Junior
Brazil, Indiana (Northview)
Major: Math

2003-04: Named Academic All-GLVC for the second straight year...ranked third on the team in singles victories with a 10-7 mark...was 4-3 at number five singles and 4-0 at number six singles...combined with Kalie Ackerman, Casey Clausman, and Ashley Rees to record a 2-1 doubles record.  2002-03: Named Academic All-GLVC...recorded an 8-7 singles record (1-0 at number one, 1-3 at number five, and 5-3 at number six) as a freshman...was a near perfect 5-1 in GLVC matches...combined with Kalie Ackerman and Laura Kay Watkins for a 2-4 record in doubles. HIGH SCHOOL: Collected letters in  tennis, basketball, and volleyball at Northview High School (Brazil, Indiana)...was the NHS Most Valuable Player and team captain as a junior and senior...member of the NHS sectional championship team in 2001 and 2002...also led NHS in points and digs as a junior.

ASHLEY REES
Junior
Vincennes, Indiana (Vincennes Lincoln)
Major: Business Management

2003-04: Named All-GLVC and Academic All-GLVC for the second straight season...ranked second on the team in singles victories with a 12-10 record...was 8-8 at number one singles, but 6-3 in GLVC action...combined with Audra Bartelt and Cassy Froderman for a 11-11 mark in doubles play...Rees and Bartelt were 8-8 at number one singles and were 6-3 in GLVC duel match play. 2002-03: Named GLVC Freshman of the Year, All-GLVC, and Academic All-GLVC as a freshman...led the team in singles victories with a 16-5 record, 7-0 in the GLVC...posted an 11-1 record at number two singles...combined with Emily Blinzinger and Kalie Ackerman to post an 11-6 doubles mark. HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Vincennes Lincoln High School where she was a four-time All-Big 8 Conference performer and three-time All-District performer...earned first-team All-State and Indiana All-Star honors as a senior...finished her senior season with a 17-7 record at number one singles...earned VLHS's Mental Attitude award...had a CITA ranking of 22nd and a Western ranking of 71st.

AUDRA BARTELT
Sophomore
Jasper, Indiana (Jasper)
Major: Psychology

2003-04: Named All-GLVC as a freshman...led the team with a 14-4 singles record, going 12-3 at number two singles and 7-2 in GLVC play...combined with Ashley Rees for a 10-11 mark in doubles play, 8-8 at number doubles and 6-3 in GLVC action. HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four years in women's tennis at Jasper High School...was named  to the All-Big 8 Conference team each of the last four years and was honorable mention All-State in doubles in 2000 and in singles in 2002...named All-District in 2003 after producing a 20-8 overall record in number one singles...helped lead Jasper High School to four straight IHSAA sectional and regional championships ...JHS advanced to the IHSAA State Finals in 2002 and 2003.

CASEY CLAUSMAN

Major: French

2003-04: Saw action mainly as a doubles player as a freshman...combined with Rachel Engle and Cassy Froderman for a 10-5 doubles mark...Clausman and Engle combined for a 10-4 record in doubles, 9-3 at number three doubles and 7-2 in the GLVC...was 1-1 in singles play.  HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters in tennis at Vincennes Lincoln High School...was the co-captain as a senior...also was All-District as a junior and senior, in addition to being named All-Conference as a sophomore and honorable mention All-State as a junior...combined with Maggie Stuckey for a 21-3 doubles record as a senior.

NEWCOMERS.....

REILLY ACKERMAN
Freshman
Allendale, IL (Mt. Carmel)
Major: Business Administration

HIGH SCHOOL: Joins her sister Kalie on the team...advanced to the Illinois State Finals each season for Mt. Carmel High School (Mt. Carmel, Illinois)...also was the conference and sectional champion in 2003 and 2004 and accumulated a record of 99-16 during her high school career...helped MCHS to the North Egypt Conference title in 2002 and 2003.


MAGGIE COFFMAN
Freshman
Sellersburg, IN (Silver Creek)
Major: Elementary Education

HIGH SCHOOL:  Comes to the Eagles program after lettering all four seasons at Silver Creek High School (Sellersburg, Indiana)...an All-District V and honorable mention All-State performer in 2004...named 2003 SCHS Most Valuable Player and helped lead the Dragons to sectional championships in 2001, 2003, and 2004...also is ranked fourth in 18-doubles and 32nd in 18-singles in the latest Central Indiana Tennis Association (CITA) rankings.


EMILY EUBANK
Freshman
Paoli, IN (Paoli)
Major: Dental Hygiene

HIGH SCHOOL: Collected four letters in tennis at Paoli High School (Paoli, Indiana)...earned Academic Honors Diploma...was the number one singles champion at the Bedford Invitational Championships in 2004.


ADRIENNE SNODDY
Freshman
West Terre Haute, IN (West Vigo)
Major: Dental Hygiene

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in tennis at West Vigo High School (Terre Haute, IN)...named All-White River Conference each of her four years...broke the West Vigo number one singles record as a senior.


SARA WILHOITE
Freshman
Connersville, IN (Connersville)
Major: Undecided

HIGH SCHOOL: Named 2004 All-District IV and second team All-State for the second straight year at Connersville High School...lettered in tennis and basketball and was All-Conference each year in tennis...her sister, Grace, was the 2002 GLVC Player of the Year and a two-time All-GLVC performer at the University of Indianapolis.
