USI drops first two matches of the spring schedule

EVANSVILLE, Ind. The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team dropped their first two matches of the the spring season Friday and Saturday in Greencastle, Indiana. The Screaming Eagles lost in straight sets to DePauw University, 9-0, on Friday and to Denison University, 8-1, on Saturday.
Sophomore Katie Jo Clagg (Terra Haute, Indiana)was the only Eagle to record a victory on the weekend when she defeated Katherine Burke of Denison, 9-7, on Saturday.
USI women tennis, who finished their season 10-9 last year, is currently 0-2 and starts a four-match spring break road swing at Georgia College and State University on March 8.
