USI sweeps pair of GLVC matches, Lenahan snaps three-match skid in Quincy match

The University of Southern Indiana women’s tennis team notched two more Great Lakes Valley Conference wins this morning and this afternoon with wins over the University of Missouri-St. Louis (7-2) and Quincy University (9-0). The Screaming Eagles improve to 8-1 on the season and 6-1 in the GLVC.
Senior number one singles player Michelle Lenahan (Vincennes, Indiana) stopped a personal three-match loosing streak with her win over Leah Marsot, of Quincy, this afternoon. Lenahan improves to 4-4 on the season and 3-3 in the GLVC.
Sophomore number five singles Kathleen Davis (Sullivan, Indiana) continued her dominance, winning both her matches today and improving to 9-0 on the season. That record includes a win at number two singles as well.
