Web Services

Web Services is responsible for the development and maintenance of the central USI web site. To deliver a comprehensive and unified online presence, Web Services must insure compliance with the University of Southern Indiana Editor’s Manual as well as strive to adhere to World Wide Web Consortium (w3c) standards, ADA (Americans with Disability Act) standards and general higher education web development best practices. 

Web Services also works closely across University colleges and departments offering guidance, assistance, and services to optimize their individual web presence within the USI web site.  Among the services the team provides include content development, web page layout and design, graphic design, writing for the web, web animation, video and audio production, database programming, and much more.  The Web Services team strives to utilize these tools to deliver essential content to the user in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
