GO STEM! Summer Camp

The Girls Only (GO) STEM! Program focuses on helping girls entering their sophomore or junior year of high school overcome barriers and stereotypes faced while preparing for, and pursuing, STEM-related careers through a five-day summer camp experience.  GO STEM! also involves female college students in the STEM disciplines by allowing them to work with and mentor these high school students.  This summer experience will focus on the application of the STEM disciplines at Holiday World Splashin' Safari in Santa Claus, Indiana by using the amusement park as a laboratory for experiments and activities in chemistry and nutrition, mathematics, biology, and engineering/applied physics.

Date:  June 5-10, 2011

Fee:  Lodging, meals, and park admission are free to qualifying participants, however, damages to university and/or the property of Holiday World Splashin' Safari will be the sole financial responsibility of the parent(s)/guardian(s) of the liable participant.
